With its own Fritz!Boxes, AVM dominates the market for WLAN routers in this country. The models regularly place at the top of our list of the best. Our experts in the test center also tested the manufacturer’s latest router: the AVM Fritz!Box 4060. According to the company, the device should bring ultra-fast WiFi to the home network. At a price of over 200 euros, you should actually expect top results in the test.
However, the model only performs “well” compared to the competition. In addition to the expensive price, points are deducted because no modems are integrated in the 4060 and the LAN ports only have 1 Gbit/s.

“The AVM Fritz!Box 4060 scored well in the test with the usual extensive functionality and good performance. The special feature of the Fritz!Box 4060 is the tri-band support, which means it transmits in three WLAN bands at the same time.
