(CercleFinance.com) – AXA announced on Wednesday its intention to create with Unilever and Tikehau Capital an impact private equity fund dedicated to investing in projects and companies promoting regenerative agriculture.
In a joint press release, the three partners explain that they intend to each invest 100 million euros and combine their expertise in the fields of industry, risk and finance.
The idea, according to them, is to encourage a structural change in the financing of agriculture and to promote a new form of collaboration between farmers, producers, manufacturers, distributors, technology providers and investors.
The fund will also be open to other investors with the objective of eventually reaching a target size of one billion euros.
