(CercleFinance.com) – AXA announced on Monday the launch of its employee shareholding operation for 2022, which will take place in 37 countries and concern more than 112,000 employees.
As every year, the insurer offers its employees, both in France and abroad, the opportunity to invest in AXA shares under preferential conditions by subscribing to a capital increase reserved for them.
In most countries, the group will offer a ‘classic’ offer (80% of the reference price), together with a so-called ‘guarantee plus’ offer (92.6% of the reference price).
As an indication, this reference price – which has yet to be set – will be equal to the arithmetic mean of the average prices of AXA shares weighted by the number of shares traded over a period of 20 consecutive trading days.
The ‘Shareplan’ operation, which has been taking place every year without interruption since 1993, aims to involve employees in the company’s strategic choices, recalls the group’s general manager, Thomas Buberl.
