(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the acquisition of Atalante by AXA, both based in France.
Atalante is active in the management of portfolios and financial instruments. The transaction concerns asset management markets, in particular active management and that intended for institutional and professional clients.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns, as the overlaps between the companies’ activities are limited.
