(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has authorized the acquisition of the German company Axa Customer Solutions Aktiengesellschaft (Axa Customer Solutions) by Athora Holding, from Bermuda.
Axa Customer Solutions holds a portfolio of deferred annuities and endowments in Germany.
Athora is a life insurance and reinsurance group focused on the European market.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns given the moderate combined market positions of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction.
