How to use baby liniment?

Use your liniment after cleaning urine and stools from your baby’s bottom. Once the buttocks are clean, you can pass a cotton pad coated with liniment over them to protect and moisturize the skin, and prevent the appearance of a nappy rash.

There is no need to rinse the bottom with water afterwards, you can simply put a disposable or washable diaper directly on top of your baby. Be careful, if your baby has red butt or irritated, do not apply liniment but a diaper cream adapted to soothe these irritations. In fact, liniment does not treat damaged skin, it can only act as prevention.

You can also use liniment to remove makeup, to soothe dry skin on the body, or to nourish leather bags or shoes, especially if you have some left after your baby is no longer in diapers.
