Babylon Berlin: The first shows the third season in October

The date for the free TV premiere of the third season of the hit series "Babylon Berlin" has been set. In October the episodes run in the first.

At the beginning of the year, the third season of the hit series "Babylon Berlin" was broadcast on Sky, now the date for the free TV premiere has been fixed. As the first reports, there will be the twelve new episodes from October 11th at 8:15 p.m. – actually the Sunday crime scene. At the start, three episodes are shown, along with accompanying documentation. The station will broadcast three further episodes on October 14 and two episodes on October 15, 21 and 22. A radio play and a web special are also planned.

What is season three about?

"We are very much looking forward to the new season, which sets new standards with a successful combination of crime thriller, moving and moving German history and this time takes us into the world of the film industry of the 1920s", Christine Strobl, Managing Director of ARD Degeto, is quoted as saying.

The season is based on the novel "The Mute Death" by Volker Kutscher (57), the second case in the bestseller series by Commissioner Gereon Rath. The twelve new episodes were written and directed by the directors and authors Henk Handloegten (born 1968, "What good is love in thought"), Achim von Borries (51, "Blond: Eva Blond!") And Tom Tykwer (55, "Lola runs").

In the leading roles, Volker Bruch (40) as Gereon Rath and Liv Lisa Fries (29) as Charlotte Ritter return to the screens.
