Babysitting 2: impossible to use stuntmen for the parachute jump scene
In the trailer for this comedy, Philippe Lacheau, Tarek Boudali, Vincent Desagnat and Julien Arruti all parachute. This scene was produced without special effects. Indeed, the film was shot in found footage and the use of stuntmen would have been immediately visible on the screen. The four actors therefore really threw themselves into the void, in order to make the sequence more realistic and funny. For this stunt, they underwent training in France, and completed the training in Brazil. During the weekends, during filming, they took the opportunity to go to Sao Paulo to skydive. The actors then rehearsed the scene for several days on the ground. In two takes, it was in the box. On the other hand, this extreme moment was a challenge for Philippe Lacheau because he qualifies as “someone very afraid“.
