A Bachelor plus second degree
In the United States, the version reserved for seniors is more “second degree” than the historical format. This one features Gerry Turner, a 72-year-old widowed restaurateur whose contenders are between 60 and 75 years old. In September 2023, when it is launched, Golden Bachelor brought together nearly 4.4 million viewers on ABC. In streaming, more than 6.6 million Internet users also watched the first episode.
