Back 4 Blood: the end of additional content recorded, Turtle Rock Studios is focusing on its next game

Turtle Rock Studios made a good reputation with Left 4 Dead, a cooperative game featuring four survivors facing hordes of zombies in various levels. Then the studio developed Evolvea multiplayer game gameplay asymmetrical which will not have seduced the players, but Turtle Rock Studios made a nice comeback with Back 4 Blood in 2021.

Back 4 Blood picks up the codes of Left 4 Deadwith survivors against zombies managed by the AI, but adding a lot of features to enrich the gaming experience, even if it means sometimes drowning players in mechanics that are not necessarily useful. The title nevertheless had a good life with in particular three extensions, River of Blood was released at the end of last year, but it will mark the end of the adventure.

Turtle Rock Studios indeed comes fromannounce thathe will stop developing content for Back 4 Blood. The title will obviously still be available, it has also been recently added to subscriptions PlayStation Plus Extra and Premiumand it is included in the Game Pass since its launch. But the studio also recalls that it is too small to develop several games AAA at the same time, he will therefore now focus entirely on the design of his next title.

We will probably have to wait many months before discovering the nature of this project, but it will undoubtedly be ambitious: Turtle Rock Studios now belongs to Tencent. You can find Back 4 Blood: Deluxe Edition at €24.99 (-72%) on Gamesplanet.
