Back to the office with The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe

Released in 2013, The Stanley Parable returns from April 27, 2022 in a Deluxe version. Published by Crows Crows Crows, the Galactic Cafe studio game is expected on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.

As in the original game, you will play as Stanley, employee number 427 of a company. Stanley has a job of extreme simplicity. In his small office, he only has to press buttons, the same ones that appear on his computer screen, at the right time. But when all of a sudden the screen no longer shows any data, our office worker feels lost and not knowing what else to do, starts exploring the building. It is there that he discovers that all his office colleagues have mysteriously disappeared. A quest for answers told by a mysterious narrator who will guide you to your next destination, as if everything was written in advance.

If at first glance, the game seems childishly simple, your progress in history will not be so easy. You will quickly find yourself moving from contradiction to contradiction. And if of course the game leaves you free to make your own choices, others will be made for you. In short, the game does its best to play you and twist your brain.

In The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, everything that was present in the first game is still present. However, the world in which you will evolve should be much larger, offering new possible choices and new secrets to discover. A visual improvement is also to be noted. And to make your gaming experience easier, the studio has also added some features to make the game more accessible, such as options for color blindness or in-universe text translation. And like the original version, Kevan Brighting will lend his voice to the narrator, to accompany you throughout your adventure.
