BAE Systems: $38 million contract with Lockheed Martin

(CercleFinance.com) – BAE Systems has signed a $38 million contract with Lockheed Martin for additional guidance systems for the Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) program.

BAE Systems’ advanced radio frequency sensor enables LRASM to strike specific maritime targets at long ranges in electromagnetic warfare environments.

The LRASM provides combatants with a precision strike weapon capable of being used in particular from airborne platforms, including bombers, fighters, maritime patrol aircraft.

“Our seeker allows the US Navy, US Air Force and our allies to find the needle in the haystack with high-performance, multi-mission missiles,” said Larry Glennon, products at BAE Systems.
