(CercleFinance.com) – BAE Systems announces that it has agreed with Plexsys and Red 6 to explore the integration of Red 6’s augmented reality headset technology and Plexsys’ immersive simulation into BAE’s unique synthetic training environment Systems.
The partners will use the OdySSEy project from BAE Systems, combined with Advanced Tactical Augmented Reality Systems (ATARS) technology from Red 6 and the Advanced Simulation Combat Operations Trainer (ASCOT) simulator from Plexsys.
The agreement will see them use this cutting-edge technology alongside the world’s largest military forces to provide the training needed for today’s and future warfare.
‘This partnership will create an advanced, realistic training environment that will enhance tactical readiness and decision-making training,’ says BAE Systems.
