(CercleFinance.com) – BAE Systems has announced a partnership with REACT, a British humanitarian & charitable organization.
BAE Systems has fully funded the UK Flood Association’s £30,000 donation appeal to enable it to recruit, train and equip volunteer flood responders across the country.
In fact, more than 5 million British homes are at risk of flooding this winter.
Funding from BAE Systems will create four teams of specialist flood responders who will be able to enter affected areas and relocate people at risk, as well as provide information and social support.
