BAE Systems: strengthening of a tripartite agreement

(CercleFinance.com) – The ministers of Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom signed an important agreement in the shared design and development of a new generation combat aircraft by 2035.

These three countries participate in the Global Air Combat Program (GCAP) created 12 months ago, via the companies Leonardo (Italy), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Japan) and BAE Systems (United Kingdom).

The agreement, signed just 12 months after the creation of the GCAP program, will strengthen its dynamics and the strong trilateral cooperation between the partners.

Discussions on future joint industrial construction to achieve GCAP continue, with representatives from Leonardo, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and BAE Systems.
