(CercleFinance.com) – BAE Systems announces that it has successfully tested, in partnership with Eaton, an integrated electric propulsion system for medium and heavy trucks, capable of improving the efficiency and performance of existing vehicles.
The tests, conducted on a Class 7 vehicle in Michigan, met performance targets.
The system, combining BAE Systems’ electric motor and Eaton’s EV transmission, reduces weight and simplifies integration.
BAE Systems will showcase this demo truck at ACT Expo 2024.
