The Swiss vaccination campaign has reached a small milestone. For the first time, the Federal Office of Public Health reported more than 60 percent vaccinated in its weekly overview on Monday.
According to the overview, 167,813 vaccine doses against Covid-19 were administered in Switzerland from October 4 to October 10. This means that 60.5 percent of the population is fully vaccinated. This is evident from the information that the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) published on its website on Monday.
The vaccination rate increases again slightly
A total of 10,711,332 vaccinations have been administered since the start of the vaccination campaign. 5,230,500 people have received two doses of vaccination, 250,332 people have only had the first vaccination so far.
Last week, an average of 23,973 vaccinations were carried out per day. The vaccination rate has increased again compared to last week, if only by one percent. (zis / SDA)
