Baldur’s Gate 3: DLC and follow-up titles? This is what Larian Studios’ plans look like

Baldur’s Gate 3 has been playable on various platforms since August 2023. To date, the title has received various updates that have added new features such as the magic mirror.

Despite these numerous updates, there has so far been no official information about an upcoming expansion (“DLC”) or a successor title. However, Swen Vincke, the founder of Larian Studios, is said to have revealed news about it during the “Game Developers Conference” (“GDC”).

According to IGN, the development studio could currently be working on a new Divinity title. This assumption is based on the fact that Larian Studios announced before the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 that a Divinity: Original Sin sequel would definitely be released.
