A house in Itaslen near Balterswil, in which two people lived, was on fire on Wednesday morning for reasons as yet unknown. As the police wrote in a press release, the fire was discovered by the resident around 9:30 a.m. When the fire brigade arrived, the flames were already breaking out of the roof and the facade, the police continue to write. Both residents were able to leave the building unharmed. The 75-year-old resident was able to get himself to safety on his own. A passer-by came to the aid of the 69-year-old woman to leave the house through a window.
