Balthazar: TF1 unveils the first images of the final season

Highly anticipated by fans, season 5 of “Balthazar”, with Tomer Sisley and Constance Labbé, will be the last. And TF1 has already unveiled a first trailer for these final episodes not to be missed.

One of TF1’s most popular series is about to bow out.

After Profiling, Alice Nevers and Research Section, it’s Balthazar’s turn to stop. As announced a few days ago by Tomer Sisley himself, the detective series created by Clothilde Jamin and Clélia Constantine will end at the end of its season 5, which will be broadcast in 2023 on the front page, without further details for the moment.

On the occasion of the Football World Cup match between France and Poland, the channel yesterday unveiled a first teaser for season 5, confirming in passing that the series has stopped since the voice-over announces that ‘it is “the last season” at the end of this short trailer.

These first images, which give pride of place to comedy and emotion, are mainly centered on the reunion between Raphaël Balthazar and Camille Costes (Constance Labbé). But also between the pathologist and the members of his team at the forensic institute.

A reunion which is explained by the fact that the hero camped by Tomer Sisley is on the run when season 5 begins. While Balthazar is wanted by all the police in France, who believe them guilty of the horrible crimes committed in his village of childhood at the end of season 4, Camille, Delgado (Yannig Samot) and Olivia (Caterina Murino) have been laid off and are languishing.

Eddy (Côme Levin) and Fatim (Philypa Phoenix) somehow manage the IML, while Maya (Leslie Medina), still in prison, has given birth to Raphaël’s child. As for Alexandre, Balthazar’s brother and his worst enemy, he has not said his last word and intends to go after his revenge during this fifth and final season.

Shorter than the previous ones, season 5 of Balthazar will only have six episodes.

The series led by Tomer Sisley and Constance Labbé, which will end after a total of 38 episodes, joins the reboot of Bracelets Rouges, the thriller Les Disparus de la Forêt Noire with Hélène de Fougerolles, or the teen series Lycée Toulouse-Lautrec, with China Thybaud, Stéphane De Groodt and Rayane Bensetti, among the fictions that TF1 promotes during the Football World Cup. Before their arrival on the air during the first half of 2023.
