Banana Bun – everyone loves this trend hairstyle now

Getting out of bed with the perfect hairstyle? To be honest, none of us has ever happened – and if you do, then you are definitely out of this world … Fortunately, there are a lot of hairstyles with which we can tame the disaster on our head quickly. We currently see one very often on our Instagram feed: the Banana Bun. Rightly so, because it is sooooo beautiful (and simple)!

While we still wore super-tight buns ten years ago, we now use easy and messy styles. Fortunately, they save us a lot of time in the morning. The banana bun is a deep-seated bun that looks messy, but is not simply crumpled up arbitrarily. You can also wear it with a middle or side parting – depending on what you prefer about yourself.

Banana bun – how it works:

  • Dab hairline somewhat.
  • Divide the hair into three equal sections.
  • Tie the middle section together with a thin hair tie at the back of the head and pull the hair tie down a little so that a "loose braid" is created.
  • Now wrap the right section of hair around the middle braid. Depending on how long your hair is, you can do it all once, twice, three times …
  • As you twist, add the left section of hair and twist it into the braid from below.
  • After each spin you can pin your hair with a hair pin on the back of your head. It's easier than doing it in the end.
  • You can either hide the hair tips under the hair banana or wrap them completely around the pinned hair and then pin them.

The banana bun looks particularly beautiful when the hair is slightly wavy or curly – for example from the previous day. But in retrospect you can wave the strands of hair directly on the face contour. They can hang out, so the hairstyle looks even more casual.
