Bandai Namco announces a new project with Akira Toriyama, Sand Land Project

If the mangaka Akira Toriyama is best known around the world for bringing to life dragonball, this is not the only work he has to his credit. There are also other much less known projects that we owe to the author, such as Sand Landa manga that had a short life and was published in the early 2000s, whose story is contained in a single volume. Sand Land could have a second life since bandai namco decided to take an interest in this story, after having scoured all the possible proposals with the games dragonball.

A game on a little-known manga by Toriyama?

Without anyone really knowing why or to what Project Sandland will look like, Bandai Namco informs us that something is in the works. For now, only a teaser has been published, but the publisher is already giving us an appointment for December 17 to find out more.

For those who don’t know the manga, Sand Land tells the story of a young demon prince, Beelzebub, who lives in a world where his people rub shoulders with humans and where the only river that allowed life has disappeared. Beelzebub goes in search of a fountain that could solve this problem, accompanied by his friend Thief and a former sheriff named Lao.
