“It fed the organized crime market in the sector,” a source familiar with the matter told CNEWS. “He even resold his well-made products at a very high price, in particular because for several years the supply has been more difficult from the countries of Eastern Europe. An arsenal discovered during a search
During searches, PJ men found two assault rifles, a rifle, four handguns, two of which had been stolen from an armory in 2020.
They also seized a bulletproof vest, jackets bearing the “police” logo, two grenades, two stolen cars and a motorbike as well as 22,000 euros in cash.
Of the five individuals arrested mainly in Vénissieux on December 14, four were indicted, including three placed in pre-trial detention.
