After two Grammys, Barack Obama has now also won an Emmy Award: The former US President is causing a stir in show business.

Barack Obama (61) continues to compete with stars from show business: After his two Grammys, the former US President has now also won an Emmy Award. He won Best Narrator on Saturday in Los Angeles for his work on the Netflix docuseries Our Great National Parks. The five-part show, which features national parks from around the world, was produced by Barack and Michelle Obama’s (58) production company, Higher Ground.

In addition to Barack Obama, other celebrities were represented in the storytelling category of the “Creative Arts” Emmys, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (75), David Attenborough (96) and Lupita Nyong’o (39).

Halfway to “Egote”

Obama had previously won Grammy Awards for audiobooks based on his autobiographical works. With the Emmy Award, he’s already halfway into the “ego” circle. These are entertainers who have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony Award. To date, only 17 people have done this.
