Exactly two weeks ago, on November 23, 2022, Barbara Meier, 36, announced the birth of her daughter Emilia Elise on Instagram. In the meantime, the now four-strong family seems to have settled in well at home again. The GNTM winner from 2007 is now sharing a first snapshot with her baby, who is just a few weeks old, in her Instagram story.

Mum and little daughter seem to be enjoying themselves as they stroll through the Christmas market in downtown Vienna, wrapped up thickly. It’s the “first visit” with the baby, writes Barbara. She smiles happily at the camera while Emilia snoozes in the carrier, complete with a sweet white bobble hat. Meanwhile, Meier treats himself to a hearty waffle on a stick with lots of powdered sugar and chocolate sauce. She probably needs energy for the first energy-sapping weeks of baby.

Husband Klemens supported Barbara at birth

Whether husband Klemens Hallmann, 46, and little daughter Marie-Therese, 2, was also there, is not known. But during the birth that gave way Austrian entrepreneurs hardly from Barbara’s side. The model recently revealed this to GALA. “I’m very happy that Klemens supported me so well,” says Meier. That would have taken a lot of pressure off her. That was also the case during Barbara’s first delivery in the summer of 2020.

When it came to their daughter’s name, the couple “were inspired by their ancestors” – just like their daughter Marie-Therese, who is now two years old.

In 2014 Barbara Meier met Klemens Hallmann and in April 2016 she made her relationship public. Three years later, in June 2019, the cinematic marriage proposal followed during the Cannes Film Festival. On June 1, 2019, the couple said yes in Venice in front of 300 guests during a fairytale ceremony.
