After five years together, US actor Dylan Sprouse and supermodel Barbara Palvin have officially announced their engagement.
In an extensive Interview with the magazine “V”, run by his twin brother Cole Sprouse, actor Dylan Sprouse (30, “Hotel Zack & Cody”) shared with his longtime girlfriend Barbara Palvin (29) about the beginnings of their relationship. On the occasion, they also revealed the previously well-kept secret of their engagement, which is said to have taken place in September 2022.
Dream wedding planned in Hungary
“We didn’t necessarily feel the need to be completely transparent with the public about this aspect of our engagement,” Palvin explained of her decision to delay in announcing the engagement. Her wedding is already being planned and will take place on a grand scale in her home country of Hungary.
She and Dylan did not have much influence on the choice of location for the joint yes word. “I know we didn’t have a chance not to have the wedding in Hungary because otherwise my parents would have killed me,” the model joked. Otherwise, she is very happy “to show this side of me and to introduce my culture, the places where I grew up and the places where I’ve been.”
Nervousness before the wedding dance
In general, there are a lot more traditions around the wedding celebration in Hungary that her future husband has to be prepared for. He admitted he feared one thing the most: “I’m nervous about the event. Honestly, it’s about the first dance. I’m nervous about a choreographed dance.”
However, the two fiancés did not reveal when their Hungarian dream wedding will take place. They probably won’t take five years to do it again.
