In the “Bunte” interview, the “Traumschiff” actress Barbara Wussow tells us that she has suffered three miscarriages.

Barbara Wussow (59, “Das Traumschiff”) has already had to go through three miscarriages in her life, as she tells in an interview with “Bunte”. Accordingly, the mother of two actually wanted to have four children with Albert Fortell (68), whom she married in 1990. “My husband immediately wished he had children, I want to enjoy him a little on my own,” explains Wussow.

But time was of the essence: “At some point I was worried, I wanted to have at least four children. Children are the greatest for me.” She had her first child, Nikolaus (23), when she was 38 years old. The fact that the age difference to her second child, Johanna (16), is seven years is due to several strokes of fate: “Because I had three miscarriages, always in the twelfth week.”

Pregnancy with her daughter was also “difficult”. “I had to lie in bed for seven months,” said Wussow. Meanwhile, she regrets having children so late, also because her parents died so early. “I think of her with great longing and warmth, and I find it a pity that my children did not have grandparents.”
