The history series "Barbarians" is the greatest German-speaking Netflix success in 2020. It just barely missed another coveted title.

German-language Netflix content had a real glory in 2020. As the streaming service announced on Thursday (December 10th), German films and series have never been as popular internationally as this year. Above all the first season of the historical series "Barbarians". The six episodes related to the battle in the Teutoburg Forest made it into the top ten list in a proud 91 countries.
