(CercleFinance.com) – BASF has appointed Gisela Pinheiro as head of the Personal Care Europe business unit and general manager of BASF Personal Care and Nutrition, effective June 1, 2023. She succeeds Tatiana Kalman who held these positions. functions since 2022 and who leaves the company at his request.
Prior to her current role, Gisela Pinheiro was Senior Vice President of BASF’s Care Chemicals Division, where she led global key account management, global business unit for detergent enzymes, global strategic marketing, procurement and information technology.
She holds a Masters in Business Administration from IBMEC Business School in São Paulo (Brazil) and a degree in Economics from Northern Michigan University (USA).
She began her career as a consultant at Ernst & Young, São Paulo, Brazil, then worked for Dow Chemicals in Brazil and the United States for 14 years. In 2017, she joined BASF as Vice President of Functional Materials and Solutions South America.
