BASF: unveils an electric car concept with Citroën

(CercleFinance.com) – Citroën and BASF have unveiled their all-electric concept car oli, a manifesto that shows how much money can be saved by reducing weight and the use of resources.

“This concept car shows what can be achieved when partners trust each other and are bold enough to take new paths,” says Uta Holzenkamp, President of Coatings, representing BASF’s automotive team.

With a speed limited to 110 km/h and acceleration close to that of the 2CV, the concept car benefits from greater autonomy and a significantly improved battery life. The minimalist approach paved the way for a refreshing and innovative design.
