Unveiled during the Nintendo Direct last February, Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster will be released this summer as planned and sets its release date for September 15, 2023. Published by Bandai Namco Europe, the title will be available on Nintendo Switch.
Players will therefore be able to live or relive the famous Nintendo GameCube card-based role-playing games in high definition, Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean And Baten Kaitos Origins. The first episode will follow Kalas’ quest for revenge after the death of his family. The second, meanwhile, will make you discover the secrets of the Alfard Empire by following Sari.
Of course, these remasters incorporate new features, in particular to offer more accessibility to players. Thus, it will be possible to deactivate the meetings or to ignore the cutscenes. Autosave is also coming to the game. Players will also be able to speed up the game and fights by 300% or activate the function “No meeting” to disable random encounters.
