To change from the traditional “ding dong” on its bells and support the upcoming release of the film The BatmanRing has approached Warner and is offering Quick Fold — or “Rapid Responses”, in French — inspired by the universe of the famous masked vigilante. These announcements are three in number and will welcome visitors in a fun way… provided that they understand them. Because if the references to the DC license are quite obvious, said announcements are only available in English, and Ring has confirmed that no translation was planned. This tribute to the bat man may therefore not be a huge success here. Pity.
Anyway, these “Quick Answers” are as follows:
- “Hello Neighbor, looks like we missed your bat signal. Please leave a message.”
- “Alfred has the day off today. And we are in the bat cave. Please leave a message at the doorbell.”
- “Bat signal activated. We’ll be right there!”
They can be found now among the configuration options available in the application for compatible doorbells such as the recent Video Doorbell 4 or the more affordable Video Doorbell Wired, by pressing the “Connected responses” tile and then the “Responses” button fast”. Ring warns, however, that they will be available for a limited time only, until March 21. Let us recall in passing that The Batman is expected in theaters on March 2.
