Battlefield 2042: “Battle of Nordvik” Event Announced – Battlefield 2042


EA and DICE recently announced that Battlefield 2042 will soon welcome a new event. It is “Battle of Nordvik”which will be available in a few days, at the time of this writing, for a fixed period.

Battlefield 2042 “Battle of Nordvik” Event Dates and Details

Starting the December 20and until January 10, 2023, players will be able to discover the “Battle of Nordvik” event on Battlefield 2042. Thus, for three weeks, several game modes will be offered. Moreover, the development studio and the publisher in charge of the title have unveiled the calendar for this event.

  • Week 1 “Assault on Nordvik” → From December 20 to 27, 2022.
    • Suggested game mode: 32 vs. 32 Assault Conquest, “ which focuses on fast-paced ground combat “.
  • Week 2 “Defense of Nordvik” → From December 27, 2022 to January 3, 2023.
    • Suggested game mode: Retaliation, which is a ” unique modified version of 16v16 Conquest, which combines elements of Conquest, Breakthrough and Rush “.
  • Week 3 “Free Nordvik” → From January 3 to 10, 2023.
    • Proposed game mode: Chaotic breakthrough with 128 players.

Obviously, of many awards can be recovered during “Battle of Nordvik”, by exchanging Ribbons (collected while playing). Again, EA and DICE have shared details.

    • Epic “Assailant” headgear for Sundance → 5 Ribbons.

    • Epic “Death” outfit for Casper → 20 Ribbons.
  • Week 2 Game Rewards :
    • Epic “Bastion” headgear for Falck → 5 Ribbons.
    • Rare “Marauder” outfit for Mackay → 12 Ribbons.
    • Epic “Oversight” outfit for Irish → 20 Ribbons.
  • Week 3 Game Rewards :
    • Rare “Surveillance” outfit for Angel → 5 Ribbons.
    • Epic Weapon Skin “Hellfires” for MCS-880 → 12 Ribbons.
    • Epic vehicle skin “Thermobaric” → 20 Ribbons.

Finally, note that during the event, some cosmetic elements will be available for free in the shop, which will also be enhanced with paid packs.
