During the release of Update 3.1, DICE had warned us that a special event of 3 weeks would take place soon. The Battle of Nordvik begins today and will last until January 10, with variants of Conquest and Breakthrough even more intensewhich will make it possible to obtain Ribbons redeemable for exclusive rewards.

Welcome to Battle for Nordvik.
We invite you to join us on the battlefield for a new special in-game event* starting December 20. A limited-time experience will be presented to you every week for three weeks.
When Nordvik’s secret alliance with the West is exposed, Eastern forces retaliate with a full-scale assault on this isolated Swedish installation. Join the Nordvik Control Corps or the Black Storm Regiment during this three-week offensive, which marks a turning point in the global conflict between two superpowers.
FACTIONS
BLACK STORM
For their assault on Nordvik, the Eastern forces have deployed Dark Storm, a shadow regiment trained in the art of infiltration and assassination. With Black Storm, you will lead the charge and crush the enemy to reclaim what is yours. “The only fallback is death.” Will you be up to this shock regiment?
NORDVIK CONTROL BODY
Nordvik’s control body defends the company’s interests around the world, but today it is preparing to repel an attack of unprecedented scale launched on its own turf. Supported by Western forces, the control corps will defend the main production site of Nordvik. Production will resume once the enemy is eliminated. Are you answering the call to hold the line of defense?
THE DISPUTE
WEEK 1 // ASSAULT ON NORDVIK – ASSAULT CONQUEST // DECEMBER 20-27
The famous Black Storm regiment launches the assault on Nordvik. As the Eastern Militia attempt to seize the surrounding territory, the Nordvik Control Corps struggles to secure the region and block Black Storm’s advance before it is too late.
This is a 32v32 Assault Conquest, focusing on fast-paced ground combat. At the start, the defenders own all the objectives and must prepare for the enemy onslaught. Every decision counts in this fight for key battlefield positions.
Throughout the battle, the stakes will be high for defenders, especially since HQ respawning will be disabled. Count on your squad and the EBLC-Ram Deployment Beacon to stay in the fight, and hold the objectives at all costs. If you lose all the objectives and your team is out of the game… then that’s it.
But taking the Nordvik complex will not be easy. As attackers, you will launch the assault with an increased number of tickets to help you infiltrate enemy territory. They will not be too many in this battle.
WEEK 2 // DEFENSE OF NORDVIK – REPRISALS // DECEMBER 27 TO JANUARY 3
Invading forces have crushed Nordvik’s defenses and taken control of the factory. The Nordvik Control Corps must retaliate in Retaliation.
As Black Storm fights to hold the line, the Nordvik Control Corps infiltrates the factory to destroy relays containing valuable data before the enemy takes them.
Get ready for Retaliation, a unique modified version of 16v16 Conquest that combines elements of Conquest, Breakthrough and Rush. Attackers must fight their way through while securing objectives along the way. Teamwork is the key to victory.
If you manage to break through the enemy lines and reach the last objective, the game switches to Rush. You must then arm communication relays around the Nordvik installation.
As defenders, you will carefully plan defenses to maintain control of the factory at all costs. The enemy will give everything for this final assault. It’s up to you to keep them away until you’ve recovered the valuable data.
WEEK 3 // NORDVIK LIBERATION – CHAOTIC BREAKTHROUGH // JANUARY 3-10
Nordvik’s control corps receives help from American reinforcements and prepares a substantial counter-offensive. Black Storm and the forces of the East establish heavy defenses as their enemies lead the charge to liberate Nordvik from its occupiers.
This final battle in Chaotic Breakthrough will decide the outcome of the conflict. This week, the action goes up a notch to welcome up to 128* players. Fight your way across the battlefield alongside your unit with modifiers that increase movement speed and reduce redeploy and vehicle request times.
