After a long wait, EA has finally revealed the details of Battlefield 2042 update 3.2 including many gameplay fixes.

Battlefield 2042’s ongoing issues have become quite detrimental to the game’s longevity hopes. requests for refunds are linked more and more and many players do not hesitate to relaunch the old games of the franchise like Battlefield V or BF1.

To relaunch the machine, EA is constantly trying to update BF 2042 to fix various issues that are hurting the gaming experience for fans.

Battlefield 2042 patch note #3.2 release date

Battlefield 2042 update 3.2 should go live on Thursday January 20 2022. However, at the moment no exact time has been provided for the patch.

Future Battlefield 2042 Patch Notes: Scoreboard

Along with all the content in Update 3.2, EA also mentioned several other major changes along the way. Plans for Update 3.3 will include game performance updates and improvements to Portal and All-Out Warfare modes.

Battlefield 2042 Patch Notes Update #3.2

General

  • Fixed an issue where leaving a party during matchmaking would cause the game to become unresponsive.
  • Fixed an issue where connecting to EA servers after signing up with a new account would not work on the first attempt.
  • Improved how the quit game key works which now returns you to the correct screen.
  • Fixed an issue where background music music would stop while loading the map.

Soldier

  • Fixed a rare issue that occurred after landing with the Wingsuit. Sundance damage was sometimes not recorded.
  • Fixed occurrences of rubberbanding (latency..) when running behind friendly players.
  • Fixed a rare issue that caused you to get stuck in a bleeding-to-life state.
  • Fixed various issues with climbing ladders, which would get you stuck in a state where you could fly away or lose control of your Specialist.
  • Fixed soldier movement speed being impaired by nearby explosions if they crater.
  • Fixed an issue with camera shake and audio FX playing unintentionally after small drops.
  • Fixed an issue where weapons in Equipment Crates would sometimes receive ammo from the previous weapon.
  • Fixed an issue where if you were spotted while shooting, the spotting would take too long.

Stability

  • Added several fixes to improve overall game stability.
  • Fixed a rendering related crash that could occur for AMD Radeon VII users while Sundance was visible on screen.

Weapons

  • Reflections from Sniper and SOFLAM scopes are now visible at a greater distance.

Vehicles

  • Fixed an issue where passenger weapons would no longer sync each time the driver’s turret rotated, preventing shots from registering when shooting an enemy.
  • M1A5 and T28: improved effective range and reduced dispersion for grapeshot shells (pods).
    • Reduced bullet dispersion from 1.6 -> 1.1
    • Increased damage power drop distance from 35 -> 40

Battlefield Hazard Zone

  • Fixed a black rectangle appearing on the End of Round screen when selecting Quit on the Level Progress screen.

Battlefield Portal

  • The Server Info tab remains displayed after selecting Refresh in the Portal Servers Browser.
  • Fixed an issue with text overlapping when joining a Team Deathmatch game during the end of round sequence.
  • Rules editor: the value “IsActiveInventorySlot” correctly takes melee weapons into account.
  • Some admin commands can no longer be spammed
