Hard blow for Battlefield 2042 which sees its players leaving for its predecessor since Christmas weekend.
Battlefield 2042 is visibly not the most outstanding opus of the franchise. Touched by bugs since its release, having lost several members of its production workforce, the game had disastrous scores on Steam, making it one of the worst of the top 10 “bad games” according to the platform. The new DICE game is now facing a desertion of fighters who prefer it … Battlefield V.
According to the site Steamcharts, the old FPS knew a peak during the Christmas weekend. So much so that the mass of players on this opus now exceeds those who are on BF2042. In total, we counted 25,000 players on the 2018 game while barely 19,000 players were still on the new iteration of the franchise. Since then, the game has consistently overtaken its successor with spikes every day.
To see now if the game has often found itself often enough under the tree to experience a new increase following these end-of-year celebrations.
