This may be the start of the revival of Battlefield 2042. Season 1 is finally about to land in the FPS and add some (skinny) new things, which could revive the appeal of the game, to provided that improvements take place. Despite recent leaks about this first season, which comes seven months after the game’s launch, Electronic Arts has officially lifted the lid on what’s in store for the community.
Battlefield 2042 Season 1 Detail
From June 9, players will be able to enjoy the content of season 1, which is far from consistent. We do not find, for example, only one card, named Exposition, placing us right in the heart of the Canadian mountains, offering unique gameplay to players. Land and air clashes are promised to us.
A new specialist will also join Battlefield 2042, Ewelina Lis, which is part of the Polish elite special forces (GROM). It will be able to fire manually guided projectiles, but also to indicate the position, on the radar, of enemy vehicles from a certain distance.
On the hardware side, several objects are introduced, such as the Ghostmaker R10 crossbow and the DMR BSV-M, while it will be possible to fly the RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal stealth helicopters. You will also be able to perfect your tactics with the new smoke grenade launcher. Finally, a Battle Pass is introduced, allowing players to collect exclusive rewards, with a free and a paid variant.
In addition to this content, the developers promise significant improvements thanks to the fixes made. Stability, balancing, and performance should see some improvements, hopefully that’s enough.
