The first-person shooter Battlefield 2042 gets a new update from Dice. This brings various adjustments, which among other things affect a certain map, the character models and two weapons.

What’s new in Battlefield 2042

With the update to version 1.2 you can expect not only minor bug fixes but also major changes. These include, for example, the “Kaleidoscope” map, which has been revised and now offers new cover options, flag positions and terrain heights. The character models have also been adjusted so that the specialists appear darker overall and sometimes have more beards.

In addition, the 30 mm guns of the RAH-68 Huron and the YG-99 Hannibal have been modified. The performance was reduced by significantly faster overheating. For a general interface improvement, an in-game player profile and stats page is now available. There you can keep track of your achievements and progress.

News about the 2.0 update

The update has been available for all platforms since August 2, 2022. As EA announced, information about the next update 2.0 will follow later in August. Until then, you can while away the time with Battlefield 2042 or take a look at the list of currently free games.
