You are probably aware that the latest Battlefield opus, Battlefield 2042, has had its ups and downs since its official launch. Moreover, EA and DICE are trying to rectify the situation by deploying various updates. In this regard, the game’s publisher recently stated that a ” important team was currently working on Battlefield 2042 to improve the gameplay experience.
However, in parallel, it seems that EA is already thinking about the next Battlefield title. Indeed, according to a job offer published on the publisher’s Careers site and highlighted by the BFBulletin Twitter account, EA would be looking for a “design director” for the Battlefield Seattle studio. According to the description available on said job offer, the person in charge must be able to ” adopt the fundamental principles of the Battlefield license and ensure that they are integrated through a single-player campaign “.
Thus, it may well be that the next Battlefield opus offers a Campaign mode. Obviously, EA has not yet communicated officially on this subject. We therefore invite you to take this information with a little perspective. Especially since this job offer indicates that the position has been available since February.
