Bayer: Kimberly Mathisen replaces Fei-Fei Li on the board

(CercleFinance.com) – Bayer announced on Thursday the appointment of Kimberly Mathisen, a 50-year-old Norwegian-American who worked for Procter & Gamble and Microsoft, to its supervisory board.

Holder of an MBA from Harvard Business School, Kimberly Mathisen has held several positions of responsibility within the American pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly.

She had been appointed in 2013 to head the hygiene products branch of the Norwegian consumer products group Orkla before joining the Norwegian branch of Microsoft in 2016.

Since 2021, she has been the managing director of HUB Ocean, an NGO supported by the Norwegian oil services group Aker.

Kimberly Mathisen succeeds Fei-Fei Li, a 45-year-old artificial intelligence professor at Stanford University, who stepped down last month for medical reasons.
