Negative run stopped with a mega comeback: After six competitive defeats in a row, Alba Berlin overturned the problem with a show of strength and achieved only its second win in the twelfth EuroLeague game of the season. The injury-plagued team led by basketball world champion Johannes Thiemann defeated the Lithuanian champion Zalgiris Kaunas 64:62 (25:28): 6.7 seconds before the final siren, Jonas Mattisseck hit a three-pointer to take the first lead and at the same time win.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich celebrated a prestigious success in the world championship meeting with Armani Milan.
