Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is set for March 17

During the Game Awards 2022 ceremony, Nintendo unveiled the first trailer for Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon. The new installment in the series of Bayonetta will be released on March 17, 2023 on Nintendo Switch.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon will allow players to embody Cereza, a young apprentice witch long before she became the famous Bayonetta. The adventure begins with a journey in a forbidden forest where the young Cereza will try to acquire a power to save her mother.

This new title will offer both a unique style, directly inspired by free images, and unique gameplay in the Bayonetta series. Players will be able to control Cereza, but also Chouchou, his partner demon. And there won’t be too many of them to explore the forest and fight the enemies there.

And for those who don’t want to wait for a preview of the game, a short playable demo of Bayonetta Origins can be accessed via Bayonetta 3. Players who have purchased, with the special currency of the game, the old illustrated book in Rodin’s shop, The Gates of Hell, will be able to access the demo after having unlocked it using three keys.
