Translation of the official Blizzard press release
Having watched Season 2 unfold, we analyzed the queue data and discovered that some were larger than we intended. In order to fix this, in Season 3:
- The range of available opponents will be expanded. This will help to meet players from other matchmaking levels faster. Just like before, teams with similar odds lining up at the same time will still be prioritized in matchmaking.
Additionally, we are making the following changes:
- The Gem of Quickwit Now grants 100 Haste (down from 300)
- With the launch of Season 3, the following items will no longer be allowed in Arenas:
– Belt of Near Invulnerability
– Gnome Auto Net Launcher
– Dazzling Longsword
– Silent
– Imminent Curse Skull
