Very competitive, the world of the PC fan evolves very gently. Today is be quiet! who tries to move the lines.

Undoubtedly among the most famous of PC fans, the Silent Wings are therefore getting a makeover with a version 4 which must, logically, push the limits of refreshment.

A total of eight different versions

Although it uses many superlatives, be quiet! is honest in his presentation by explaining that it is not about revolutionizing the fan world or improving Silent Wings 3 on all levels.

The German manufacturer specifies that it focused on static pressure and therefore sought performance before discretion. In addition, it also has the idea of offering a greater amplitude in the speed of rotation which can reach 3,000 rpm on the Silent Wings Pro 4 versions.

be quiet! specifies that it has reworked the shape of the blades of its fans and has focused on reducing the spacing between the ends of the latter and the frame of the fan. The reduction is only 0.2 mm (1.2 against 1.0 mm), but at this level nothing should be left to chance.

Finally, the manufacturer indicates that it has reworked the very shape of the frame of its Silent Wings so that the air outlet has a funnel shape. This is to diffuse the air over a larger area. So many new features that influence the static pressure of the Silent Wings 4.

As you can see from the small table above, be quiet! offers six different versions of its Silent Wings 4 depending on the maximum possible rotational speed and, of course, the dimensions of the product (120 or 140 mm). It also has two Silent Wings 4 Pro.

The availability of the entire Silent Wings 4 range is set for July 19 at prices ranging from 23.90 to 32.90 euros, which places these eight fans at the top of the range.
