Beats’ new Studio Buds+ headphones are finally official

Visually, it is indeed difficult to differentiate the two models. Only the button on the outside is different; it is now recessed and not superimposed on the main shell of the earphone.

The main novelty of these Studio Buds + is the presence of three new microphones that would allow better voice pickup during calls. They should also significantly improve the performance of active noise reduction: Beats announces a gain of 60% efficiency on noise reduction and 100% on the mode of listening to surrounding sounds compared to the first Studio Buds of the name .

The Studio Buds+ also gain additional vents. These would reduce the feeling of pressure that can be felt due to the intrusion of the earphones into the ear canal. They would also help slightly improve the accuracy of audio rendering.

The advantage of Beats headphones over Apple AirPods is to offer a very similar user experience whether you are on iOS or Android. In addition to the quick pairing and geolocation already present on the first Studio Buds, the Studio Buds + can be synchronized automatically between your iCloud or Gmail devices and are compatible with Audio Switch, a kind of multipoint Bluetooth between devices linked to the same account. The Studio Buds + gain an hour of battery life compared to the Studio Buds. They are therefore able to stay awake for 9 hours per charge; the case offers three additional charges.
