Apple is about to briefly resurrect one of its mobile speakers. Indeed, the Beats Pill+ will be entitled to an exclusive edition created in partnership with a basketball player.
Last January, the American firm formalized the cessation of production of its Beats Pill+ portable speakers. However, this model made a timid comeback two months later with a special edition designed in collaboration with the clothing brand Stüssy. Obviously, Apple wants to repeat the experience in the coming weeks.
A look that stands out?
Now it’s Devin Booker’s turn, via his studio Book Projects, to offer his vision for the Beats Pill+. The NBA player-designed edition is inspired by the Sonoran Desert. It is not for nothing that sand dunes can be seen in the promotional video. The clip also allows you to admire the famous object from all angles.
There is not much to add since Beats was careful not to communicate important information such as the release date or the price. The basic enclosure was for its part sold for around 200 euros in France. However, we can imagine that the price will be increased for this exclusive edition.
