Philips Hue, a really mature system, has its own control unit with the Hue Bridge and not just one outdoor light model, but at least 20 models in cool white, warm white or colorful, in the form of wall lamps, spotlights, base lights or bollards and reaches the price very nice.
On the other hand, the Petunias from tint are no longer a real bargain at just under 90 euros, because Müller-Licht does not offer a complete solution with an app and control unit. After all, the lamps react to the address of Zigbee-compatible control devices. You can control the lamps using the Hue base station or with the Amazon Echo Plus.
Customers who use tint bulbs are basically satisfied and rate them quite well, but some complain that the bulbs go out abruptly when they are switched off and that the color changes are rather “hooky” instead of flowing into each other like with Hue – some also lose connection now and then, according to reviewers, which can only be fixed with a reset. The latter also happens with Hue and innr lamps.
