Beauty innovations in the test: this is new in July

Can they really do what? We have tested four beauty novelties for you – and tell you what they have on the box.

Bondi Sands Aero Self Tanning Foam

This year the beach vacation more or less falls into the water. I still don't want to do without the popular after-holiday tan. That's why I tested Bondi Sands' “Aero Aerated Self Tanning Foam” to give my summer complexion a bit of a boost. This is not only healthier than sunbathing for hours, but is also faster.

Trainee Celin tried the Aero Self Tanning Mousse in Light by Bondi Sands.

The light foam of the self-tanner can be effortlessly spread over the body with a glove. By the way, I also got more spots than with my bare hand, so that the end result did not get stained. After six hours I jumped in the shower and washed it all off. (Don't worry, the clothes I've been wearing in the meantime haven't gotten anything). My conclusion: I am thrilled. The self-tanner does not leave a strange yellow tinge and the transitions have also become nice and even. The fresh coconut scent knocked me down and immediately put me in a holiday mood. Hach! Available from Müller for around 25 euros.

L'Oreal Paris Matte Lip Crayon

I love lipsticks. I do not give the exact size of my collection here – the danger that you will declare me crazy is too great for me. I felt like I had already tried everything, so a new product has a hard time pulling myself off my stool. But that doesn't stop me from testing myself through the colorful range. My latest discovery: The Infaillible Matte Lip Crayon by L’Oreal Paris in the nude color “Sweet and Salty”.

What he promises: "Matt everywhere, matt at all times." And yes: I would also sign that. The texture is very firm and does not slide easily over the lips. But an exact, flawless application is very easy due to the narrow shape of the lipstick. Another plus: the color is very easy to build up. Depending on my mood, I was able to achieve a natural or stronger finish. And: it holds … and holds and holds and holds. Even with food NOTHING blurs, the color does not settle in the wrinkles uncomfortably during the day, nor does the texture dry out my lips. A really great conclusion for the price. So I have a clear go to buy. Available for around 10 euros from DM.

Huda Beauty Legit Lashes Mascara

I have fairly long eyelashes by nature. But that's not always as great as some might think. I constantly have the problem that the mascara stamps on the eye – story of my life! Hoping to finally find a perfect mascara, I tested Huda Beauty's new Legit Lashes Mascara. The double-sided mascara has two sides: one for extreme volume, the other for swing and length without weighing down the eyelashes.

In fact, the "Curl & Lenght" brush conjures up really great, defined and long eyelashes. This is due to the tiny fibers that are contained in the formulation. If you do not like dramatic eyelashes, you will be satisfied with it. The "volume" brush gives the eyelashes even more color and makes them look thicker. I have to say that I really like both looks. Is that THE perfect mascara? No, with me it still stamps during the day – but it is also not waterproof. If you don't have this problem in general, you will probably be super happy with the Legit Lashes Mascara. I am at least for the first five hours. Available from Sephora for around 28 euros.

tetesept anti-corneal cream

At first glance, it may not be as sexy as mascara or lipstick, but at least as practical is the anti-corneal cream from tetesept, which I have tested in the past few weeks. Because – and you certainly agree with me – beautiful feet are just as important in summer as a popsicle or the perfectly coordinated lipstick for your new favorite summer dress. And so much in advance: My feet had not received the memo announcing the start of summer until I started my test. The anti-corneal cream from tetesept should save what could be saved in such a short time – with the help of a urea-linoleic acid complex, which supposedly makes rough and horny skin supple and soft again.

Sounds promising and it actually is. The cream is super rich, easy to massage in and nourishes the rough skin of the feet immediately. I used it daily before bed and woke up with super soft feet every morning. Ciao, slightly horny soles of the feet !. I would, however, work on really stubborn calluses with pumice or a planer, because maintenance alone will hardly be enough. And a little safety warning: It is best to cream in the evening in bed or if you have enough time to put your feet up for a few minutes. Due to the rich texture, a light (super pleasant!) Film remains on the skin, but there is an acute risk of slipping. The anti-corneal cream from tetesept is available in every drugstore for around 7 euros.
