Whether your teeth appear yellowish or white depends on the color of your lipstick. The best trick for white teeth is easier than you think: cool, blue tones neutralize the yellow tinge of the teeth and make them appear whiter. The shade of blue neutralizes and makes teeth look brighter, since blue is the complementary color to yellow. In addition, bluish lipstick reduces optically unattractive discolouration. Suitable shades for whiter teeth are mauve, fuchsia, violet, berry, lavender, pink and dark red.
