Expert reveals: This skin care product is totally underestimated

Do you think you know what kind of care is right for your skin? We say: There is a product that almost everyone underestimates. You too?
Serums, moisturizers, toners, AHAs, lotions, fluids – should we continue? There are now so many skin care products that you quickly lose track of what we really need and what not. Some products are even ignored completely, but they are super important. We asked Matthias Hauser, Associate Director Scientific Relations at Johnson & Johnson, which skin care product is totally underestimated.
This product is used far too rarely
Definitely foot cream! When we're not sitting or sleeping, we run or exercise. The feet have to withstand everything, the entire weight and all kinds of shoes. Often they react with an overproduction of calluses – mostly on the heels.
If we're all completely honest with ourselves now, we're going to feel pretty caught out now. How often do you really put cream on your feet? While it might be a nuisance, foot care is just as important as facial care. So you should invest a few minutes every day to give your feet the necessary amount of care. It is best to apply cream to them at the same time every day, so foot care becomes a routine faster. How about, for example, right after a shower or before going to bed?
It's not just your feet that need attention
However, the feet are not the only part of the body that is often and often neglected. Our lips usually don't get enough care either, as Hauser knows:
The right lip care with high UV protection is particularly important in summer, when you are active on the beach or in the sea. Lips have no self-protection and no sebum or sweat glands, so they need protection just like the skin.
Therefore, you should always have a lip balm with sun protection factor in your pocket or at least at home. You can also apply the care before a lipstick or gloss – so you have care and color in one. A regular lip peeling is of course part of perfect lip care. So they always stay nice and soft!
